Services Available

Drinking Water: The tap & hose are on the front side of cottage. Please use the hose - DO NOT DRIVE to the tap.

Recycling Bins: Loose items only, no plastic bags. Bins are beside the front entrance: Green - Food, Blue - paper/cardboard, Orange - hard plastics/tins/cans & Cream - glass. Sorry No General Waste.

Black Waste: Available for use for £5 a cassette. Located behind the green fencing. Take care on the steps when wet. Please use the water bottle to rinse. DO NOT use the hose.

Grey Waste: Sorry but we cannot offer disposal facilities here as we are not on mains sewerage.

Pets

All pets are very welcome but please keep on a short leash on site at all times and

Please pick up after your dog.

Dog Waste Bin: Turn left out of the entrance and walk about 150m. The council bin is opposite the Peathill turning.

Dog Walking: Dogs on leads are welcome onto our headland or within the garden area. For a longer walk follow the coastal path in either direction.

Other Facilities

Seating: Feel free to use our benches area on the headland, or our patio picnic table inside the garden walls. You are welcome to take your own chairs to these areas.

Barbecues: No Barbecues allowed in the van area for safety. You may use an off ground one at a seating area, but please ask about responsible disposal of ash/used charcoal. NO DISPOSABLE Barbecues please.

Fire pit: We have a communal fire pit that you are welcome to use but please ask first to check in case there are any fire restrictrictions in place.

Charging/electrical: Please ask.

Local Information

Cycle/Pedestrian Path: The pavement directly opposite our entrance is for cyclists, mobility scooters and pedestrians. It can be followed directly into town or keeping to the coastal route takes you to the Kinnaird Head lighthouse.

Supermarket: You can walk to Asda and Home Bargains (about 300m) as there is a pedestrian entrance route directly from the path.

Bus Stop – Flag a 69/69A passing service, or the stop for the 69 (Stagecoach) & 76 town service (Watermill Coaches) is outside the main entrance to Asda/McDonalds on the A98

Maps & Tourist Info: We have a supply of maps and information about Fraserburgh and the surrounding area so please ask at the cottage if we have not seen you to welcome you.
