MOTORHOME & CAMPERVAN OVERNIGHT AIRE

Welcome to our award winning overnight stopover, just outside Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire,  for self-contained RVs, Motorhomes and Campervans of any style including panel vans, conversions, sign-written or with trailers.

You are welcome to book in advance, or pull in as you’re passing.

We offer a continental Aire-style facility with overnight parking within our cottage grounds, with stunning sea views and our own piece of headland. We are a small private site, certified to take up to five vans and can accommodate a full range of van sizes and weights on our large hardstanding area which has easy access from the road. We also have a couple of more secluded grass bays within our cottage walls.

We are the current CAMpRA Aire of the Year.

Our £5 per night per van charge includes parking, water and limited litter disposal/recycling facilities, and we have created a few dedicated seating areas away from the parking area for you to sit and relax. Pets are welcome. Open all year.

We have a Black Toilet Waste Disposal Point, which you can use either when staying with us or as a drop in facility, for £5 per use.

We are conveniently located on the North East 250 and Moray Coastal Trail routes, with a dedicated cycle & pedestrian path opposite, and an Asda and McDonalds a short stroll away. We are half a mile from the pretty harbour village of Sandhaven and just over a mile from the historic town of Fraserburgh. Fraserburgh has a stunning sandy beach which is a great surfing destination, lots of locally run shops, cafes and restaurants, a swimming pool leisure centre and is home to Scotland's oldest mainland Lighthouse, which runs guided tours through the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses.  This is set in the grandeur of Fraserburgh's wide streets and granite architecture, which has recently won heritage regeneration awards, alongside a fascinating working harbour - one of the largest shellfish ports in Europe - where you can book fishing trips too.

If you enjoy cycling or hiking, Fraserburgh is situated at the top of the Formantine & Buchan Way, which is designated as one of Scotland Great Trails and utilises the former railway line down to Dyce, Aberdeen.

Our stopover has sea views over the Moray Firth with plenty of wildlife to see, including a resident colony of seals each summer and passing Orcas and Minke whales if you are lucky, plus in the Winter months, the Northern Lights can put on stunning displays from here when conditions are right.

Having travelled ourselves in our motorhome we know the importance of finding welcoming, safe and easily accessed places to park for a few nights  and hope that you will enjoy your visit to our home.
